Empty Restrictions
Proper Appointment Usage: Please try to cancel any appointments ahead of time that will NOT be used.
Do NOT let appointments expire. ***LBCT monitors appointment usage on a regular basis and if a trucking company lets too many expire they may be temporarily banned until there are corrective actions taken by the trucking company.****
* EMPTY APPOINTMENTS WILL BE OPENED UP AT 12:00PM PST ON A DAILY BASIS FOR THE NEXT 2 SHIFTS. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE TRUCKER PORTAL FOR AVAILABLE APPOINTMENTS AT THAT TIME. PLEASE CANCEL ANY APPOINTMENTS YOU ARE NOT GOING TO USE; DO NOT LET THEM EXPIRE!

Empty Return Appointment Creation Rule Reminders:
* There will be a limit to the amount of empty in appointments you can make in a 10 minute period . So if you make appointments too fast you will get a message that you have exceeded the limit and must wait 10 minutes before making another appointment. This will benefit all trucking companies because it will provide for a much longer time frame to find available empty return appointments.
* You must add the container number to your Empty In appointment 1 hr before the appointment slot. It will NOT be mandatory at the time of appointment creation but you will need to modify the appointment and add the container number 1 hr before. If you do not add the container number to your appointment then the appointment will be auto-cancelled.
***Dual Transactions MUST have the SAME CONTAINER SIZE TYPE for both the drop off and pick up.
*Empty Return Appointment Reminder: The empty return line operator MUST match the actual line operator of the container the trucker is returning. For example: if you make an appointment to drop off an OOL 40HQ, but the driver tries to bring in a EGL 40HQ they will be TURNED OUT because the line operators do not match.
